    Welcome to my website!  My name is Laura Deterville and I have been a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor for over 20 years. I am dedicated to helping you take care of your mental health to improve the quality of your life. 

    At different times in our lives, we can all benefit from having someone to talk to and support us through challenging times.  At Share Your Journey Counseling, I provide a safe place for you to express yourself through counseling, group work and experiential workshops. 

    I believe that every person has the potential to be successful, but at times may not have the support to accomplish their goals.  I can help you develop the skills and strategies to gain insight and awareness, cope with life stressors, increase feelings of self-worth, and enhance meaning in your life.

    Asking for help can be uncomfortable and intimidating. I applaud you for having the courage to take the first step.  I am  committed to walking with you on your journey of healing, self-discovery, and personal growth.

I am currently offering in-person sessions as well as online therapy through a
HIPAA compliant video service. 

Individual Telehealth & In-Person Counseling

Counseling allows individuals to explore their feelings, beliefs, and behaviors, work through challenges in their lives, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change. 


Couples Counseling

Wanting to have the best relationship you can with your partner is a great reason to begin therapy together. Couple's counseling can help you and your partner work through challenges, deepen your connection, understand your relationship better, and develop healthier ways of relating to one another.


Structured Life Review

Structured Life Review is an individual process of reflecting on and talking about your life.  When we look back on our life experiences and assess the events of our past, we gain insight and self-awareness. We come to understand the impact of those events on the present and the future.  It's a means of becoming content with ourselves and who we may become in the future.


Group Therapy

Group therapy is helpful to individuals who want to connect with others and share their experiences, learn from others going through a similar situation, process their thoughts and feelings, get support or develop specific skills.


Workshops

Embark on an inner journey; experience a deeper meaning to life; gain insight and clarity, and get to know yourself better by taking time to reflect on your life experiences. Participate in
a  life review or legacy workshop and be inspired.
