Experience
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina and have been providing counseling services for 20 years in a variety of social service settings.  Throughout my career I have worked with children, adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, learning disabilities, self-injury, psychotic disorders, and more. I have experience working as a therapist in an inpatient psychiatric unit for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing individuals and for a community mental health center. I also have experience working as a group home counselor and as a lead therapist for at-risk youth. My most recent  role was as a social worker in a retirement community and nursing home. In each area, I have partnered with families, hospitals, schools, the court system, and other social service agencies to provide effective therapeutic services.
